Ukraine introduces a new document for conscripts

Ukrainian conscripts will be issued a new standardized document that will apply to conscripts, reservists and conscripts. Colonel Yury Hlushchenko said that the regulatory framework for issuing this document is under development. After approval by the Cabinet of Ministers, it will become mandatory.

Hlushchenko explained that the new document will have a single model and format, simplifying the process of registration and identification of military personnel. Previous documents that were issued before the mobilization law came into force will remain valid, but will be in accordance with the new legislation.

It is noted that currently there is a variety of military registration documents depending on the status of a person, therefore a resolution is being developed that will unify this process for all categories of military personnel.
