More than 5,800 new cars were sold in Ukraine in October 2024, which is 1% more than in the same month last year. This was reported by "Ukravtoprom" in Telegram. Compared to September 2024, consumer activity on the car market increased by 2%.
The French company Renault became the market leader of new passenger cars, showing excellent results: in October, 775 new cars of this brand were sold. The previous favorite, Toyota, was in second place with 679 cars sold.
Third place in the ranking was taken by Skoda, which sold 402 cars. BMW with 397 cars and Volkswagen with 363 also made it to the top five.
Crossover Renault Duster again became the bestseller of the month, selling 749 units. A total of 58,800 new cars were registered in Ukraine since the beginning of the year, which is 19% more than in the same period last year.
These data indicate the gradual recovery of the automotive market in Ukraine, despite the challenges the country is facing. The growth in demand for new cars is a positive signal for the industry and indicates the recovery of consumer activity in Ukraine.
