The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has expanded the possibilities of the State Grant Program "Own business". From now on, Ukrainians can get up to UAH 1 million for the opening or development of private kindergartens, nursery or child development centers. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
Grant will be provided subject to new jobs and partial co -financing. Depending on the amount, entrepreneurs should hire two to four employees and invest some of their own funds. Up to UAH 500 thousand the state will provide in the case of at least two jobs. At least four jobs must be created to obtain a grant from 500 thousand to UAH 1 million. At the same time, 70% of the amount is provided by the state, and 30% should be made by the entrepreneur.
Grant funds can be used on:

repair and arrangement of premises;

purchase of furniture, appliances and interactive equipment;

purchase of toys and methodological materials;

advertising and marketing services;

vehicles for the needs of the institution;

Starting the garden by franchise.

This step of the government is aimed at expanding access to preschool education, supporting small businesses and creating new jobs, especially in regions where kindergartens are deficit. The initiative will also contribute to the return of parents to an economically active life, creating quality conditions for the care and development of children.
