In the summer season, the picnics of Ukrainians were warned of serious responsibility for breeding a campfire in forbidden places. According to the Coordination Center for the provision of free legal aid, not only a fine but also a criminal punishment can be obtained for barbecues.
Where you cannot breed fire
It is forbidden to ignite fire:

in the forest during a fire hazardous period - if there is no specially equipped place;

in nature conservation areas (reserves);

closer than 30 meters to buildings and structures;

in city parks, squares or yards - without allowed space;
-
in any areas defined by law as prohibited.
Which is provided for liability
Administrative:
-
for breeding fire in the forest - fine from 1530 to 4590 UAH;
-
in the settlement - from 340 to 1360 UAH.
Criminal:
If the fire occurred with material damage in a significant amount or affected people, the offender threatens:

fine from 17 000 to 68 340 UAH;
-
or corrective work up to 2 years;
-
or restriction or imprisonment up to 3 years.
How safe to cook food in nature

Use only specially equipped places (concrete barbecue, platforms).

Always have a fire extinguisher, water or sand nearby.

Do not ignite the campfire right on the ground, in dry grass or near trees.

Do not leave fire unattended.
-
After completion - be sure to completely put out the campfire.
We remind you that even a regular picnic can end with a court if you do not comply with the basic rules of fire safety.
