Recent data show that about 25% of the surveyed Ukrainian refugees in Europe intend to stay outside of Ukraine in the long term. This indicator is caused by the long war, socio-economic conditions and uncertainty about the future in the native country.

Another 25% said they were undecided. The study also showed that almost 11% of refugees have already returned to Ukraine.

At the same time, 35% of Ukrainian refugees want to return to Ukraine as soon as the war ends. Another 4% of respondents answered that they would return home soon regardless of the security situation.
