The Ukrainian military confirmed that the Kurakhiv dam was blown up

The Ukrainian military confirmed that the Kurakhiv dam was blown up as a result of the actions of the Russian occupation forces.

Aidar fighter Stanislav Bunyatov writes that the Russians did this by complicating the logistics of the Armed Forces. A number of villages in the direction of Bogatyr were flooded.

"The roads remain usable, but with certain nuances, the movement of armored vehicles on dirt roads around these n. p., of course, limited," Bunyatov writes.

The head of the city administration reports that it is still impossible to inspect the dam due to the shelling, but the water is rising in the villages near the Vovcha River.

The Russian public accuses the Armed Forces of undermining the dam, claiming that it was an attempt to deter the advance of Russian troops.
