In connection with the latest events in the Kupyansk direction, the deputy commander of the battalion of unmanned attack aircraft complexes "Achilles" of the 92nd separate assault brigade, Oles Malyarevich, reported the lack of territorial gains by the Russian troops.
"The goal of the enemy in the Kupyan direction is completely clear - to seize the left bank of the Oskil River. The occupiers, despite their losses, continue to move towards this goal. In recent days, they have not had any territorial gains," he said on Espresso.
New assaults are being prepared
According to Malyarevich, the Russian occupiers are preparing new attempts at major assaults. "And for now, small enemy groups are operating, trying to pass from the left or right by infantry, somewhere by one BMP. We observe all this, conduct intelligence and work out what we see," he emphasized.
An important aspect for Ukrainian units is the destruction of Russian means of electronic warfare. "Russian air defense systems are constantly being destroyed, not just suppressed, because this is the key to the success of the actions of Ukrainian units," the defender added.
A powerful assault and serious losses
Recently, the Russian invaders carried out a powerful assault in the Kupyan district of the Kharkiv region with the support of dozens of armored vehicles, but suffered serious losses. The commander of the "Achilles" battalion of the 92nd OShbr, Yuriy Fedorenko, reported that more than 30 units of the enemy's equipment remained forever on the battlefield. He emphasized that in total, during the shock-assault operations, the enemy used more than 50 units of armored vehicles.
The situation in the Kupyan direction remains tense, but thanks to the efforts of the Ukrainian military, the enemy is suffering serious losses and cannot achieve its goals.
