On Wednesday, July 16, Ukrainians can expect a sharp meteorological contrast: the west of the country will be covered with rain and coolness, while the east, south, and center will remain in the grip of heat.
According to the forecast, the temperature in the west will drop to +22°…+24°, and most regions will experience showers and thunderstorms. In particular:
-
Lviv: +15° at night, +23° during the day, rain and light cloudiness;
-
Ivano-Frankivsk: +16°…+23°, rain with thunderstorms;
-
Uzhhorod: +16°…+24°, rain, light cloudiness;
-
Chernivtsi: +18°…+23°, rain;
-
Rivne, Lutsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi - also showers and daytime temperatures up to +23°.
In the north and central part of the country, the temperature regime will be comfortable - within +24°…+30°, with rain in places:
-
Kyiv: +19° at night, +27° during the day, thunderstorm;
-
Zhytomyr: +17°…+24°, thunderstorm;
-
Vinnytsia: +16°…+26°, rain;
-
Chernihiv: +16°…+28°, rain;
-
Cherkasy: +20°…+30°, dry.
In Sumy region, despite its northern location, it will be hotter – up to +30°, but without precipitation.
Instead, in the south, east, and most central regions, a real summer will reign - dry and hot:
-
Mykolaiv: +22° at night, +36° during the day, clear;
-
Kherson: +21°…+35°, partly cloudy;
-
Zaporizhia: +22°…+33°, cloudless;
-
Odesa: +22°…+30°, sunny;
-
Dnipro: +23°…+32°, cloudless;
-
Kharkiv: +21°…+31°, dry;
-
Kramatorsk, Severodonetsk: up to +33°, no clouds.
In Crimea, in particular in Simferopol, hot and dry weather will also persist - +20°…+33°.
Thus, Ukraine has once again been divided into two weather fronts: one with rain and coolness, the other with heat and sun. Meteorologists urge residents of hot regions to be careful in the sun, and those living in the west to not forget their umbrellas.
