Ukrainian farmers can receive subsidies: who can apply and how

Ukrainian farmers have the opportunity to receive state support for the maintenance of certain types of animals. In particular, farmers who keep from 3 to 100 cows can count on payments in the amount of 7 thousand hryvnias per cow. Subsidies in the amount of 2,000 hryvnias for each animal are provided for owners of breeding stock of goats or sheep.

Applications can be submitted by farmers from all regions of Ukraine, with the exception of temporarily occupied territories and zones of active hostilities. Basic conditions:

  • The minimum number of cows is 3, the maximum is 100.
  • Payments for goats and sheep are calculated only for the breeding stock.

How to apply?

  1. Register in the State Agrarian Register.
This is the main application platform.
  2. Fill out the form and attach the necessary documents.
The list of documents is available in the system.
  3. Wait for verification.
The Ukrderzhfond will check your application within 10 working days.

After approving the application, the Ukrderzhfond will inform the farmer about the amount of support. To receive funds, the farmer must sign an addendum to the contract using an electronic signature. Payments are sent to the account within seven days after approval.

Subsidies should help farmers in difficult economic conditions, contributing to the preservation and development of animal husbandry in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian government hopes that these measures will help support farmers and stabilize the agricultural sector. If you keep cows, goats or sheep, do not miss the opportunity to take advantage of government assistance.
