"Ukrposhta" has started delivery of summonses for conscripted citizens. In an interview with "Ukrainian Radio", the general director of the company, Ihor Smilyanskyi, said that currently there are 20,000 summonses, which are sent from the territorial centers of recruitment and social support.
According to him, the nature of these letters is no different from other official documents, such as court summons or traffic ticket notices. The quality of summons delivery depends on the information specified in the state systems "Rezerv+" and "Oberig". As an example, Smilyansky cites a situation where a conscript cannot receive a summons in his city, because he indicated the temporarily occupied Melitopol as his address. However, according to the head of Ukrposhta, the company hopes to be able to deliver these summonses after de-occupation.
An important aspect is the protection of personal data. Smilyansky emphasizes that the delivery process is "clearly controlled and monitored", and the confidentiality of the recipients' information is strictly preserved.
It is also worth reminding that the Cabinet of Ministers approved changes to the rules for providing postal services. In accordance with Government Resolution No. 1147, registered letters with subpoenas are delivered to the addressee personally. In case of his absence, post office employees leave a message or inform by phone.
