The government has simplified the procedure for obtaining the status of persons with disabilities as a result of the war, Serhiy Podolin, deputy head of the Rivne Regional Administrative Office, said.
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs introduced an initiative on a simplified procedure for submission and establishment of statuses for persons disabled as a result of the war and family members of fallen servicemen and women.
Previously, this process could last up to 8 months, during which persons with disabilities and the families of the deceased did not have the opportunity to take advantage of the benefits provided by the state.
From now on, it will be possible to do it within 30 days. Statuses can be obtained in two ways:
- In paper form through Tsnap, regardless of place of residence.
- In electronic form through the e-cabinet of the Diya portal or the unified state register of war veterans.
In addition, veterans or families of the deceased will not need to collect any documents, this will be the responsibility of competent bodies and individuals.
The electronic filing system is under development, and the TsNAPy are ready now.
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation are improving the technical possibility of obtaining statuses "in one click". It is planned to be implemented in the near future.
Initially, the e-application will be available for servicemen of the Armed Forces, National Guard, DPSU, National Police, Security Service of Ukraine, SZR who became disabled as a result of hostilities and for families of fallen defenders of the same categories.
