Former world champion in three weight categories, Duke McKenzie, shared his opinion on a possible rematch between Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk and Briton Daniel DuBois. According to McKenzie, Usyk has every chance to beat the Briton again if such a match takes place.
"Usyk is the only one who would beat Dubois. This is the fight that Daniel has been chasing, and that he will be chasing again. His confidence has grown tremendously and it's great to see. I like his desire to conquer the world and prove that he is the best in the world," said McKenzie in an interview for Pro Boxing Fans .
Despite the positive dynamics in the development of DuBois, McKenzie is confident that Usyk's intelligence and experience will be decisive. "He's too smart for all the heavyweights," concluded the former champion.
Meanwhile, Oleksandr Usyk's manager, Aegis Klimas, said that fans should not expect a quick return of the Ukrainian boxer to the ring after his rematch with Tyson Fury. According to Klimas, Usyk will need a long recovery after this exhausting confrontation.
