In the Kharkiv region, it is necessary to demine 6,987 km of overhead power lines

The Kharkiv region, which suffered significant destruction during the war, today faces a serious problem - demining. In 16 communities of the region, it is necessary to carry out demining measures of approximately 6,987 km of mined overhead power lines. This situation endangers not only the safety of local residents, but also the restoration of infrastructure.

Currently, the frontline areas of the region remain the most difficult for demining, in particular in the east, where repair crews often suffer from rocket fragments and drone attacks.

According to "Kharkivoblenergo", to date, about 100 settlements with a total number of 43,000 consumers remain without electricity in the Kharkiv region - mainly in border and front-line areas.
