In the Spanish city of Williaoos, in unknown circumstances, a former Ukrainian high -ranking Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Hrushevsky was killed. About it reports the Spanish edition of El español with reference to its own sources.
The body of the Explorer of the Department of Combating Organized Crime and the National Police of Ukraine was found in the housing pool where he recently purchased an apartment. The same residential complex became known after the murder of the Russian desertir pilot Maxim Kuzminov, who was shot there in February 2024.
The tragedy happened on June 29, but the Spanish media reported only now. According to information, Hrushevsky swims in the pool in the evening, and later found it dead - drowning, with blood from his ear. The official cause of death has not yet been established, the circumstances of the incident remain unknown.
Journalists found that in the 1990s Igor Hrushevsky headed the Organized Crime Control Department in Cherkasy and Kirovograd regions. In different years, he also held management positions in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular in departments engaged in the fight against organized crime.
Against the background of a series of mysterious deaths of Ukrainian and Russian security forces abroad, the circumstances of Hrushevsky's death raise additional questions. Spain law enforcement officers continue investigations, and official comments have not yet been commented.
