On Friday, March 14, an activist Demyan Ganul was shot in the center of Odessa. The incident happened in the Primorsky District of the City, OBOZ.UA sources reported.
The killer opened fire on the victim and disappeared from the crime scene. According to police, the report of the shooting was received on the special line 102 at about 10:30 am.
According to preliminary information, an unknown man fired from a passerby in the city center. The investigative team and criminalists work at the scene, installing all the details of the crime.
Police launched a surgery to search and arrest a shooter. There is no information about possible motives yet.
The murder of Ganul was also informed by MP Alexei Goncharenko, who stated that he had received confirmation from his sources.
Demian Ganul is a well -known Odessa activist who has repeatedly made public initiatives and engaged in the fight against pro -Russian movements.
Law enforcement officers do not currently inform whether murder is related to its active activity. Details are expected soon.
