During these five months, more than 90,000 criminal cases have been opened on the facts of unauthorized leaving a part or place of service and desertion. In particular,: 77 932 criminal cases for unauthorized abandonment of service were registered; 11 126 criminal cases for desertion.
These are minimal indicators, because not one person, but dozens of servicemen who have left their positions, can appear in every criminal case. Experts associate this spike with the so -called "bell" - praise mobilization, which led to a significant decrease in discipline and an increase in the number of violations among personnel.
These figures indicate serious problems with maintaining military discipline and motivation in the Armed Forces, which can have far -reaching consequences for the country's defense capability.
