The Ukrhydromet Center reported a preliminary weather forecast for the summer of 2025. According to the expectations of the forecasters, the air temperature in Ukraine in the summer may exceed the climatic rate by 1.5-2.5 degrees. This means that the summer will be hot again - like last year, when in some regions the temperature exceeded +40 ° C.
However, experts warn: the weather will be unstable, with frequent temperature changes and uneven precipitation distribution. The synoptic picture does not promise stability - both long periods of heat and short -term waves of cooling are possible.
According to meteorologists, such fluctuations are normal phenomena for the Ukrainian summer and have already been recorded earlier. In particular, May 1999 was also distinguished by an atypical cold caused by the spread of Arctic air. A similar situation was observed this year in May, when the northern and northwestern air masses led to cooling in most areas.
However, these phenomena, as emphasized in the Ukrhydromet Center, are local and temporary and do not indicate a change in climate trend.
