Cases of sabotage on railways have become more frequent in Ukraine

In the Odesa region, there was a sabotage on the railway the other day, the purpose of which was to derail the train.

This was reported by sources in the law enforcement agencies.

"The event happened at night from June 24 to 25. At the Odesa-Zastava railway station, unknown persons installed special shoes to prevent the train from derailing. The driver of one of the trains, which was going to the Odesa port, saw these shoes, applied emergency braking and managed to stop the train," the source said.

A criminal case was opened under the article of sabotage under martial law. Offenders face from 15 years of imprisonment to life imprisonment.

Previously, cases of setting fire to relay cabinets on railways became more frequent throughout Ukraine.
