In Ukraine, there was a large-scale leak of personal data of clients of the Polish visa center TLS Contact (located in Lviv) and the insurance platform IN24, which serves the Center.

The personal data of thousands of Ukrainians is still publicly available, as evidenced by the photos published in some anonymous Telegram channels. The editors do not link to them for reasons of preventing the dissemination of this information.

In Ukraine, there was a large-scale leak of personal data of clients of the IN24 insurance platform who traveled to Poland

As can be seen from the archive of merged data, in particular, the names and surnames of people with dates of birth, document numbers, places of residence and contacts were in public access.

The Polish visa center TLS Contact, as well as IN24, which conducts financial operations for the Center, have not yet commented on the leak of their clients' data.

Law enforcement agencies will find out who and for what reasons (failure, violation of security protocols, deliberate distribution of personal data of Ukrainians for a reward) carried out or allowed such a situation.

According to the information available in the editorial office, the extent of the negative consequences of the data leak has not yet been assessed, nor has it been possible to remove them from the Internet. It is not known for certain who this information could have already ended up with and for what purposes it can be used in the future, in particular, in the context of Russia's war against Ukraine.

All victims, that is, those who used the services of the Polish visa center TLS Contact and paid insurance payments through the IN24 system, are advised to apply to the National Police of Ukraine at their place of residence, as well as to the National Bank of Ukraine.

It is important to note that the IN24 insurance platform is the only and unalternative company with which the Polish visa center TLS Contact currently works in the field of financial operations. Both institutions do not disclose the details of such exclusive cooperation. Under what conditions the IN24 company, dubious from the point of view of guaranteeing cyber security, was involved in the activities of the Center is still unknown.

Considering the significant international component in TLS Contact's activities and the Center's actual performance of the representative function of the Polish side, the leak of personal data of persons traveling from Ukraine to Poland endangers the international cooperation of our states as a whole.

At the time of preparation of this material, it is known that neither TLS Contact nor IN24 officially informed representatives of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the large-scale leak of their data.
