Today, Ukrenergo announced the introduction of electricity outage schedules for business and industrial consumers. The restrictions will be in effect during the day and will be lifted in the evening after the equipment stabilizes. At the same time, household consumers will not experience any restrictions, which has become a reassuring moment for the population.
The reason for introducing such restrictions lies in the short-term reduction in the capacity of shunting generation and the reduction in the volume of electricity imports, Ukrenergo notes. This is a temporary measure that will help stabilize Ukraine's power system.

What can businesses expect?
The restrictions should not be long-term: they will only be in effect during the day, with power supply fully restored in the evening. This will allow industrial consumers to plan their work around the new schedules and avoid productivity losses during peak evening hours.
Ukrenergo also called on business and industry to use electricity wisely, especially during periods of reduced capacity, to maintain the stability of the country's power system.
Such measures help to avoid more serious disruptions, reduce risks to the system, and maintain its stable operation. Energy restrictions for business and industry have become part of the overall efforts to ensure the stability of Ukraine's energy system, which is especially important in the winter period and increased load on the network.
