An unusual incident occurred in the resort town of Yaremche, when representatives of the Territorial Center for Procurement and Social Support (TCC) took away the driver of a regular bus carrying 50 people from the Poltava Region. This was reported to Suspilno by one of the tourists who was on the bus during the event.
In the resort town of Yaremche, the TCC took away the driver of a regular bus carrying 50 people from the Poltava region, one of the tourists told Suspilno.
There were also eight children in the bus.
"The driver stopped not far from the gas station. While the people had gone to eat, the police came to the toilet together with the employees of the Nadvirnya district TCC. The driver with documents, bus keys and money for fuel was put in the car and taken away. All the people stayed outside. Departure to Poltava was supposed to be tomorrow morning. His 14-year-old son was driving with the driver, who is now alone because his father was taken away. The child tried to call his father, but he only told him that he was in the hospital in Frankivsk undergoing a VLC," Yulia said.
Dmytro Boykanyuk, press officer of Ivano-Frankivsk TCC and JV, refused to comment on the incident. According to the lawyers, the police and TCC had no reason to detain the driver and take him away from the workplace, and they lead to illegal deprivation of liberty.
A second driver will take people back, although this is prohibited according to the instructions: two drivers must travel this distance.
