According to the world's first research that has studied non -clinical risk factors, it was found that the use of champagne, the increased amount of fruits in the diet and maintaining a slender figure can significantly reduce the risk of a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). This discovery has become an important step in understanding factors that can help prevent millions of deaths related to this serious medical problem.
A sudden cardiac arrest is a condition where the heart suddenly stops pumping blood through the body due to impaired electrical activity of the heart. This can lead to instant death without medical care. Millions of people die from this problem every year.
The study revealed 56 non-clycible risk factors, including physical indicators, socio-economic status and even the local environment. With the elimination of some of them, you can significantly reduce the number of deaths from a sudden cardiac arrest. In particular, the use of champagne, white wine, an increase in the amount of fruits in the diet, as well as control over weight and blood pressure can reduce the likelihood of this serious problem by 40-63%.
"We were surprised by the results of this study, as it showed that much of SCA cases can be preventing way of living lifestyle," said Co -author Randji Chen of Foodan University in Shanghai.
Particularly important is the fact that eliminating the worst risk factors can lead to a significant decrease in mortality from a sudden cardiac arrest. If you reduce the worst third of 56 risk factors, you can prevent up to 40% of cases, and if you eliminate two -thirds, this figure will increase to 63%.
Researchers also emphasize that metabolism optimization in the myocardium, which is associated with moderate consumption of champagne and white wine, has a cardioprotective effect. This discovery changes the idea of moderate alcohol consumption.
