The military of the DPRK may enter into a conflict with Ukraine already in November - Serhii Kyslytsia

In a statement made by the Ukrainian representative at the United Nations, Serhii Kyslytsa, it is stated that the troops of North Korea may engage in combat operations against the Ukrainian army as early as November. This message caused serious concern among the international community, because the participation of the DPRK in the conflict in Ukraine can significantly complicate the situation at the front.

According to his information, from October 23 to 28, at least seven planes flew from the Eastern Military District to the border with Ukraine, transporting approximately 2,100 servicemen. So far, about 400 North Korean soldiers have already arrived in the western regions of Russia's Kursk region, Kyslytsia added, previously the Financial Times newspaper reported about three thousand Koreans in the Kursk region.

According to the Ukrainian representative, since October 20, a group of North Korean military personnel numbering 40 has been operating at advanced positions in the area of responsibility of the 11th Airborne Assault Brigade, performing reconnaissance tasks.

It is expected that from November, North Korean units can begin to carry out active combat missions against Ukraine.

In total, says Kyslytsia, there are about 12,000 Koreans who are already undergoing training at the training grounds of the Eastern Military District. According to Kyslytsia, this composition includes more than 500 officers, including three generals of the North Korean General Staff.

Kyslytsia said that in the near future it is planned to create several units of 2-3 thousand people, each of which will be equivalent to a Russian motorized rifle regiment. At the same time, the North Korean military will wear Russian uniforms and will be armed with Russian small arms.
