Without a military registration document, this or that conscript may have difficulties when crossing the border or receiving consular services abroad, because such a document must be issued in Ukraine. People's deputy of Ukraine Yury Kamelchuk reported this.
"Regarding consular services abroad. I said, if there is any harsh version, I will oppose it. Because, as a representative of the Ukrainian delegation to the PACE, we work with human rights, and no one would understand this at the European level," Kamelchuk said.
According to him, as far as he understands, the update of data in the consulate will take place in parallel with the provision of some services. However, conscripts will need to obtain the necessary document in Ukraine, and its absence is fraught with difficulties.
"Unless the consulate and representative office of Ukraine will develop some specific document for obtaining such a document on the territory of another country," the deputy explained, adding that otherwise there may be an outflow of citizens abroad, "that is, renunciation of citizenship," if there is no opportunity to use consular services.
