Two residents of Rivne region will stand before the court for an attempt to illegally transfer the serviceman across the state border. About it reports the Rivne Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, the suspects developed a scheme of illegal border crossing to the Republic of Belarus, bypassing official checkpoints. Their "service" cost $ 5,000 for one person. Law enforcement officers detained the organizers on May 30, 2025 - during an attempt to ship the conscript.
Under the procedural guidance of the Vladimir District Prosecutor's Office, two men were suspected under Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - illegal crossing of persons across the state border committed for selfish reasons for prior conspiracy by a group of persons.
The court chose a precautionary measure in the form of 24 -hour house arrest. The investigation is ongoing.
