Ukrenergo National Energy Company has announced emergency shutdowns of electricity in eight regions of Ukraine . The cause was damage to energy infrastructure due to hostile attacks , as well as an increase in electricity consumption due to cooling .
As a result of damage caused by hostile rocket-arable attacks of generation and transmission of electricity, today in Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Poltava, Zaporizhia, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk (partially) and Cherkasy (partially) regions were applied emergency shutdowns
Electricity consumption, as noted, demonstrates a tendency to grow. Today, February 4, as of 7:30, its level was 2.8% higher than the previous day - on Monday.
The daily maximum of consumption on February 3 was recorded in the morning - 2% higher than the maximum of the previous working day, January 31. "The reason is a decrease in air temperature throughout Ukraine," the message reads.
As it is noted, now the Ukrainian power system continues to recover after Russian massive rocket and okola attacks. Energy recovery work is ongoing.
“Please consume electricity today very thrifty from 7:00 to 22:00. If possible, do not use powerful appliances during this period and do not turn on several such devices at the same time, ”Ukrenergo called.
And they emphasized that "the situation in the power system may change."
