The body of a missing 81-year-old man was found in the Lviv region. The Lviv mobile rapid response rescue center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on December 19.
According to rescuers, the Drohobych district police department asked them to help in the search on December 16. Given the man's age and health, large-scale search operations were organized. The search and rescue department, dog handlers with service dogs, and an unmanned aerial vehicle operator were involved in the work. The territory was surveyed in stages, focusing on the possible routes of movement of the missing person.
On December 19, during the next stage of the search, the man was found with no signs of life using a UAV. The circumstances of the incident are currently being established by the relevant services.
