The People's Deputy from the Servant Party Roman Kaptelov officially declares only modest assets in Ukraine. However, the investigation turned out that his family owns real estate in Moscow, and his wife and children have Russian citizenship. Kaptelov himself has repeatedly met with his wife abroad, avoiding publicity.
Kaptelov-MP from the Servant of the People, elected from the 36th district with the center in Pavlograd (Dnipropetrovsk), member of the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada. But in his modest parliamentary activity, property and relations he did not specify in the declaration are hidden.
Roman Kaptelov did not declare a penny of property abroad, but his family has something to hide:
Apartment on Leninsky Prospect. Since 2015, the wife of People's Deputy Yevgeny Kaptelova, his minor son and daughter have a share in an apartment in Moscow - 100 square meters. M on Lenin Avenue. The property is distributed between 9 persons, including the mother -in -law and Kapelov's father -in -law. The share of the People's Deputy is a third of the apartment. How much does it cost? On Russian real estate sites similar apartments are estimated at 420 thousand rubles per m² (175 thousand UAH). Cost - about UAH 17.5 million, and the share of wife and children - about 6 million UAH.
Among the owners of the apartment are the parents of Eugene. Their presence in the list of owners hints at close family ties with Russia, which Caphelov prefers not to advertise. In Kapelov's declarations, it is not a word.

The wife of Yevgeny Kaptelova - a citizen of Russia, who left Ukraine on January 22, 2022, a month before a full -scale invasion. Through Istanbul, she got Moscow and stayed there. In the declaration, Kaptelov recognizes her citizenship, but does not mention her residence in the Russian Federation.
Children with Russian passports: Kaptelov's children also have Russian citizenship. The son left Ukraine with his mother in January 2022 on the Russian passport - this is confirmed by the origins from the databases of the Russian Federation and the Federal Tax Service.
Turkey as a meeting point. After the start of the war, Yevgeny Kaptelova repeatedly flew from Russia to Turkey - from Sochi, Grozny, Moscow. It is interesting that in the same periods (June 2022, July 2022, September 2022, January 2023) Roman Kaptelov was absent at the plenary sessions of the council and was abroad.
