On January 30, an important event of "Eurovision 2024" took place in Malmö - the ceremony of handing over the symbolic keys to this year's host city. The mayor of Liverpool, Steve Rotherham, handed over the official keys to the Eurovision Song Contest to the mayor of Malmö, Katrin Sternfeldt Yamme. Among the keys handed over was the "Liverpool key" in the form of an anchor, a symbol of Odesa, which is a sister city of Liverpool. This reminds us that last year Great Britain hosted Eurovision on behalf of Ukraine.
We will remind that the final of the Ukrainian National Selection will take place on February 3, 2024 in the format of a televised concert. The pre-show will start at 17:30 and the finale at 18:00. As always, the winner of the selection and the representative of Ukraine at Eurovision 2024 will be determined by the results of the jury and audience voting.
The 68th Song Contest will be held in the Swedish city of Malmö in May 2024. The semi-finals are scheduled for May 7 and 9, and the Eurovision 2024 grand final will take place on May 11.
