What is known about the singer Nemo
Nemo Mettler aka Nemo was born on August 3, 1999 in Billier, Switzerland and is now 24 years old. His zodiac sign is Leo.
From childhood, the boy was fond of music and already at a young age mastered playing the violin, piano and drums.
His musical talent was noticed early, and at the age of 18 he released a platinum single and two mini-albums, for which he received five awards at the prestigious Swiss Music Awards.
In 2020, the young musician began to actively promote himself outside his native country, releasing several songs in English and recording the album "Whatever Feels Right".
Mettler stands out with a unique and expressive style: he has short curls, clear glasses and original clothes.
In 2023, Nemo announced his non-binary gender identity and asked to be addressed as the pronoun "they".
Eurovision in Malmö: what place did Ukraine take?
Ukrainian singers Alyona and Jerry Heil with the song "Teresa & Maria" won 3rd place and 453 points.
At the end of the performance, the singers managed to convey an important message. They simply said from the stage: "Peace and freedom for Ukraine."
The whole world heard these words. Ukrainian women were reminded of the full-scale war in our country.

"Now I will rewatch the performance! I went out to convey pain, light, and prayer to people, so I entered a special state and remember only it, not what I did!" Jerry Heil commented on her performance.
Who won Eurovision in the last 10 years
It should be noted that this year's triumph is Switzerland's third victory at the song contest.
Before that, Switzerland sent its performers every year, except for 1995, 1999, 2001 and 2003.
If we talk about the last 10 years, then Ukraine can be called one of the most successful representatives at Eurovision. Since 2014, our artists have been lucky enough to raise the crystal microphone above their heads twice.
In this indicator, only Sweden, which also triumphed twice at the Eurovision Song Contest in the last decade, matched us.
In general, the list of winners looks like this:
- 2013 – Denmark (Emmeli de Forest – “Only Teardrops”)
- 2014 – Austria (Conchita Wurst with the song “Rise Like a Phoenix”)
- 2015 – Sweden (Mons Selmerlev – “Heroes”)
- 2016 – Ukraine (Jamala – “1944”)
- 2017 – Portugal (Salvador Sobral – “Amar Pelos Dois”)
