On June 1, Ukraine will come into force new restrictions on card translations. From now on, without official confirmation of income, it will be possible to transfer no more than 100 thousand hryvnias a month. This decision has caused concern among citizens, as it will affect the convenience of conducting financial transactions.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the Board Globus Bank Anna Dovgalskaya, it is possible to avoid difficulties by preparing in advance documents confirming the income. It can be:
- Certificates of the OK5 and OK7 (information from the Register of Insured Persons).
- Tax return.
- Salary information.
- Documents on receipt of funds from state bodies.
- References on family members.
- Confirmation of volunteer activity.
Banks can consider these documents and, if necessary, increase limits for individual customers.
In order to avoid inconvenience, financial experts are also advised to optimize the number of bank accounts. A large number of cards in different banks can complicate financial control and lead to additional restrictions. It is also recommended to close the "non -working" accounts to avoid confusion.
In addition, it is necessary to set up automatic utilities and subscriptions for digital services, as well as use digital payment tools, such as Action Application and Taxpayer Electronic Cabinet.
Recall that from February 1, 2025 in Ukraine already has a limit on card transfers in the amount of 150 thousand hryvnias a month. However, Ukrainians are actively looking for ways to bypass it, for example, opening up accounts with several banks or using transfers to IBAN.
Experts say that in early February the number of card transfers in Ukraine decreased by 12%, and their total volume decreased by 18%. However, the situation later stabilized.
It is important to know that restrictions do not apply to transactions between two accounts of one client within one bank. If the income exceeds the set limit, then after submission of the relevant documents, banks may translate within the confirmed income.
