From May 1, 2025, some Ukrainians, including residents of apartment buildings, will start receiving separate accounts for maintenance of internal gas networks. This was reported on the portal of LLC "Gas distribution networks of Ukraine".
It is about those homes where a new model of gas systems maintenance has already been introduced. Previously, these expenses were included in general tariffs or collectively covered, but now residents will pay them separately.
The service price will not be the only one for everyone - it is calculated individually for each home. Factors such as the length of the pipeline, the number of connections, gas cranes, and the features of the settlement are taken into account. On average, the amount can be up to 1000 UAH.
You will not have to pay every month. If the gas system in the house has been used for over 25 years, the account will be sent once every three years. In newer homes - only every five years.
At the same time, the tariffs for natural gas for household consumers will remain stable. The price will still be 7.96 UAH per cubic meter. This was made possible by the moratorium on raising tariffs during the martial law.
The government also reported social initiatives that touch pension. In particular, combatants are entitled to early retirement, and some of the pensioners have received a 20%increase in payments since March.
In addition, the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund in the Poltava Oblast has published updated conditions for insurance experience required for retirement. This is part of a broader process of revision of pension policy in the country.
