Following German Chancellor's statements Friedrich Merz about possible assistance to Ukraine in the development of long -range weapons and abolishing restrictions on the use of Western weapons in Russia, another wave of panic and aggression began in Moscow.
Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov accused the German authorities of the "Provision of War", calling Merz's initiatives "dangerous irresponsibility." At the same time, Russian propaganda continues to appeal to "peaceful settlement".
But the most odious was the reaction of the Kremlin's main propagandist Margarita Simonian. In her telegram-channel she wrote that in the Moscow Office is already talking about strikes in Germany:
"If the German military beats German weapons in Moscow (…), then we have nothing left but to beat Berlin," Simonian said.
The discussion of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova also connected to the discussion. This time, her emotions were aroused by the words of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, who stated that NATO's weapons could be used to blows deep into Russia. Zakharova accused Kiev of Terror against the civilian population, repeating the rhetoric in which the aggressor tries to expose itself to the Russian Federation.
On the eve of Friedrich Merz confirmed that restrictions on the use of Western weapons, which for a long time forbidden Kiev to beat in Russia, had been lifted a few months ago:
"Ukraine has the right to use the weapon he receives, even beyond its borders," the chancellor said.
Instead, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he had not received official confirmations of the change of the partner's position, but would discuss it personally with the dead during his visit to Germany on May 28.
The Kremlin's reaction proves once again: any steps in support of Ukraine cause hysterical threats and attempts in Russia. But now, when Ukraine has a real chance to obtain permission to blows deep into Russia, these threats are more like acknowledging fear of responsibility.
