In the Declaration for 2024, Kalugin noted that he possesses share in two apartments in the Dnieper. However, they did not specify their value. In 2024, his wife Alina purchased a house in Uzhgorod with an area of 640 m² for 398 thousand hryvnias, which, according to the market, is several times lower than the real value. The land under the house was estimated at 256 thousand.
She also became a co -owner of a large plot in the village of Ostrytsia (Chernivtsi region) of more than 1.7 hectares, which was bought for more than UAH 2.2 million. Other co -owners are her partners from Golden Black Spa, which can testify to hidden commercial activities.
Nevertheless, the family rents another house and two land in Uzhgorod - the amount of rent in the declaration is not specified. Another house in the Podgorod area of almost 300 m² was estimated at only 300 thousand - and this again raises suspicion of reducing the cost.
Formally, Kalugin does not have his own car. At the same time, he uses the BMW X5 2019, which his wife purchased in 2023 for UAH 3.5 million. This vehicle is absent in the declaration.
At the beginning of 2024, the family acquired another luxury SUV - BMW X7 2020 for UAH 2.7 million. Within a few months, the car was sold again. Before that, only one car belonging to his wife appeared in the declarations.
Family Income: Millions of Business and Mysterious Sales
Eugene Kalugin's official salary in 2024 was UAH 845 thousand. His wife has earned almost 5.5 million of business and another 2 million from the sale of "movable property", which is not known. Separately, she received 3 thousand UAH of social assistance.
In accounts, the family declares $ 354 thousand in cash with a wife, another UAH 2 million in bank accounts. The official himself has $ 34 thousand and 97 thousand UAH. The total amount of savings is over UAH 18 million. However, there are no mention of accounts with Bank of America, where, according to journalists, the family also saves money in the declaration.
It is especially interesting that the sons of the couple have US citizenship. And Alina Kalugina herself is not only an entrepreneur, but also a co -founder of NGO "Woman in Progress" and BF "Life Win", which is managed by ... her husband.
Moreover, in previous declarations, the wife had corporate rights, but in the report for 2024 they disappeared.
Kalugin's career path is a typical example for a system official: prosecutor's office, Ministry of Internal Affairs, DBR, and since 2023 - Bab. Already in August of that year he was appointed head of the department in Transcarpathia.
However, his family's declaration and lifestyle are more like a top business than a civil servant. Given the differences, it is not rejected that law enforcement officers may be interested in this story.
