In the Sumy region, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed and detained the deputy director of one of the local educational institutions, which transmitted data on the Ukrainian military.
The attacker lived in the frontline village near the border with the Kursk region of Russia and openly expressed pro -Russian views. Through Telegram channels, he publicly supported the occupation of the northeastern region of Ukraine, which attracted the attention of Russian special services.
After recruiting, he began to collect intelligence on the defense forces. The man regularly went around the border areas, masking his activities for personal affairs. During such trips, he hiddenly recorded the base of the Ukrainian military, spare command points and routes of moving equipment. The collected data transmitted to its curator in the form of coordinates and photo fixation.
Thanks to the intervention of the SBU, it was possible to prevent the passage of up -to -date information on the Ukrainian military. During searches, the attacker seized the phone, computer and digital media with evidence of his spy.
The man was reported suspicion that he is now in custody without the possibility of bail.
