President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported active work on the plan of the first steps to achieve a fair and sustainable peace. He published this information on his official Telegram channel. According to him, the plan will be ready in the near future, and its purpose is to approach the end of the war.
Zelensky emphasized the importance of European cooperation in these processes, noting that Europe has a joint vision of the peace process and security guarantees for Ukraine. The President stressed that Europe should be involved in future talks with Ukraine and the United States.
According to Zelensky, an important stage of peaceful negotiations is the first steps to the de -escalation of the conflict, including the release of prisoners and a truce in the sea and sky. Zelensky noted that this step provides for a ban on the use of missiles, long -sighted drones and blows on energy and civilian infrastructure. An important aspect of peace talks is security, including guarantees for Ukraine and its partners.
The President also commented on his meeting with US President Donald Trump in the White House on February 28, noting that she had not passed as expected. Zelensky expressed annoyance about the results of this meeting, but added that it was time for constructive cooperation and communication. He emphasized the importance of further cooperation with the United States to achieve the final peace treaty.
