The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, announced the holding of a meeting of the Headquarters, at which the issues of providing the front with shells and drones were discussed. The event was attended by the commanders of the main directions and operations, representatives of the General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Strategic Industrial Development and the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
"The Bet is important. The commanders of the main directions and operations were present in person. Together with them, the General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Strategy and Industry, and the Ministry of Information and Communications discussed in detail the topic of providing the front with shells and drones. Actual costs, daily needs, distribution between units," Zelenskyy wrote on his Telegram channel.
The President also noted that current and future contracts were systematized at Stavka, issues of assistance from partners, as well as own production, including the opening of new production lines, were considered.
"We are doing everything to provide the soldiers with everything they need to perform their tasks," he added.
Special emphasis was placed on the problem of air defense (air defense). "We analyzed the latest Russian strikes and the effectiveness of the Air Force. We agreed on our next steps to strengthen the protection of cities, communities, enterprises and critical infrastructure facilities," added Zelenskyy.
