Zelensky congratulated Maya Sanda on her victory in the presidential elections of Moldova

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Maya Sanda on her victory in the presidential elections in Moldova. This event took place against the background of new political changes in the neighboring country and represents an important step on the way to closer cooperation between Ukraine and Moldova.

Sandu's victory was evidence of her support for European views and the desire of the Moldovan people for democratic reforms.

"Ukraine supports the European choice of the people of Moldova and is ready to work together to strengthen our partnership," writes the President of Ukraine.

We will remind that Sandu won the mountain thanks to the votes of the foreign diaspora. In the country, her competitor Oleksandr Stoyanoglo gained more than 51%.
