The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, in his statement on the national telethon confirmed that the Ukrainian military has taken all the necessary measures to protect the Sumy region from possible threats from the Russian occupiers.
The head of Ukrainian intelligence explained that there are currently border attempts by Russians to break through the defenses in Sumy Oblast, and from time to time Russian DRGs try to break into the region. "But all the necessary measures have already been taken and there is no longer such a scale as it happened," Kyrylo Budanov emphasized.
It should be noted that in the same interview, Budanov spoke about strikes by Western weapons on the territory of the occupier. The head of the GUR believes that strikes by the Ukrainian army with Western weapons on the territory of Russia will definitely ease the situation at the front, and Russian horror stories with "red lines" are just a game for the public.
