At the folk level, this day is known as the Veremiah of the Night. It is believed that today it is especially favorable to work in gardens and plant vegetables. Our ancestors have finally moved from the sledges to the carts, starting active spring work in the fields and cities. Traditionally, this day is also done by general cleaning of homes.

Today, the Labor Day is also officially celebrated-the International Workers' Solidarity Day, which has history since 1886, when US workers have gone on strikes, demanding an 8-hour working day. In Ukraine, despite its martial law, this day is a national holiday, but additional weekends have now been abolished.
