March 14: What holidays celebrate in Ukraine and the world

March 14 in Ukraine celebrates Ukrainian Volunteer Day. It is the day of honoring anyone who voluntarily stood in defense of the country. He was introduced in 2017 in honor of volunteer fighters, who were one of the first to go to the front in 2014.

  • Birds bathe in puddles - spring will be rainy.
  • Warm wind promises raw summer.
  • If it is cold, the frosts will last until the end of March.

That cannot be done on March 14

  • Insult animals or expel them from home.
  • Cutting trees and cutting firewood - there is a risk of misery in the family.
  • Use sharp objects - knives, axes, saws to avoid injuries.
