According to the results of the investigation conducted by the publication "Glavkom", it became known that 18 out of 25 heads of regional medical and social expert commissions (MSEK) in Ukraine have millions of fortunes. This information caused indignation and concern in society, as it called into question the transparency of the activities of these bodies and their intentions in ensuring social protection of citizens.
The richest person is the head of Khmelnytskyi MSEK Tetyana Krupa, against whom a criminal case is already being investigated.
In 2023, she declared a salary of 661.5 thousand hryvnias and a pension of 166 thousand hryvnias. In addition, she has 678 thousand hryvnias, $15.5 thousand and €32.5 thousand in bank accounts, and 15.2 million hryvnias and $160 thousand in cash. Her family also owns 16 houses, 3 apartments and 40 plots of land.
Yuliya Danylenko, the head physician of the Vinnytsia regional MSEK, and Volodymyr Reshota, the head of the Lviv MSEK, also showed significant incomes.
Meanwhile, the head of the NAZK Viktor Pavluschyk said that it is impossible to confiscate the property of the heads of the MSEK, they are only threatened by the article on unreliable declaration.
"In order for these people to be prosecuted for illegal enrichment and unjustified assets, it is necessary to make changes to the Criminal Code and the Civil Procedure Code. We are already working on it, we have started to prepare changes to the codes to implement the decision of the National Security Council," said the head of the NASC.
