184 Ukrainian companies found themselves on the NSDC sanctions lists

As of today, 184 companies in Ukraine are under sanctions by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC). These restrictions have mostly affected businesses located in Kyiv, Odessa, and Lviv, and most often concern wholesale trade, except for transport and motorcycles.

According to Opendatabot , a significant increase in the number of sanctioned businesses occurred in 2024: the list was replenished with 119 new companies, which is three times higher than in previous years. For comparison, in 2023, sanctions were imposed on only 10 enterprises (5.4% of the total).

Duration of sanctions

  • 50% of companies will remain under restrictions until 2027.
  • 19.4% (36 companies) are under sanctions until 2034.
  • 15.1% (28 companies) have indefinite sanctions.

Business sectors under sanctions

The largest number of companies under sanctions are engaged in:

  1. Wholesale trade (33.2%) — 61 companies.
  2. Specialized construction works (10.3%) — 19 enterprises.
  3. Film production and construction of buildings (3.8% each) — 7 companies in each category.

Regional picture

  • Kyiv is the absolute leader in the number of sanctioned companies (102).
  • Odessa region — 17 companies (9.2%).
  • Lviv region — 13 companies (7.1%).
