20-year-old resident suspected of fatally beating his mother

A tragic murder occurred in the Khmelnytskyi region: a 20-year-old resident of the Shepetivskyi district is suspected of fatally beating his own mother.

According to the regional prosecutor's office, the incident occurred on August 18. The young man was intoxicated. During an argument, he punched his mother several times in the head and face.

The 43-year-old woman suffered serious injuries that were life-threatening at the time of the attack. She was taken to hospital, but died the next day in hospital.

The suspect was detained by law enforcement officers. The court chose a preventive measure for him - detention. He faces a long prison sentence for his actions.
