A drama is unfolding in Transcarpathia around the disappearance of 20-year-old student Oleksandr Hashevsky, which has caused significant public outcry.
A young man who had recently returned from a mountain vacation has mysteriously disappeared while traveling home to Lviv. The incident has sparked concern and speculation that his disappearance may be linked to the Technical Procurement Center (TPC).
The family's lawyer suggested that Verkhovyna CCC employees were likely involved in the young man's disappearance. He may have been beaten and kidnapped during a document check.
The student's father reported that his son's fate remains unknown today, with only unconfirmed information emerging that the body was allegedly found by Romanian border guards in the Tisza River.
In response to a media request, OK "Zahid" noted that the young man was not checked or detained by military or other law enforcement officers. Also, Gashevsky is not a violator of mobilization legislation and has the right to a deferment from conscription.
