Vladyslav Zalistovsky, a 23-year-old pilot of the 114th Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force, known by the call sign Blue Helmet, died while performing a combat mission. This was reported by “Armia TV” on Telegram.
Vladislav Zalistovsky was known for regularly posting videos of his flights on his social media page, where he took off in a MiG-29. His real name was also known to fans – Vladislav Zalistovsky.
The young pilot, who graduated from the flight faculty of the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University in 2021, died in the line of duty. He flew dozens of combat missions during the full-scale invasion. The tragic news of his death shocked not only the military, but also the wider public.
Vladislav Zalistovsky’s girlfriend, Yevgenia Nesterenko, expressed her grief on Instagram, calling him “her angel.” In the post, she noted that Vladislav loved his work, his life, and his heaven, but fate played a cruel joke on him.
Vladyslav Zalistovsky was a native of Malyn, Zhytomyr Oblast, and was a MiG-29 fighter pilot. He was only 23 years old.
