The State Bureau of Investigation has completed a pre-trial investigation and forwarded to court the case against an employee of the Podilskyi District Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center in the Odessa region. The man entered false data into the electronic register of conscripts "Oberig" for money, helping those wishing to avoid mobilization.
According to the investigation, the official began doing this at the end of 2024. He changed information about wanted persons and military registration, which actually allowed his clients not only to avoid summonses, but also to travel abroad without hindrance.
Law enforcement officers have identified at least 12 people who used the services of the employee. The cost of the fraud for one evader was 3 thousand US dollars. Some of the "clients" have already been found by the State Bureau of Investigation and mobilized into the army, the rest are wanted.
The suspect pleaded guilty. He is charged with unauthorized interference with the operation of information and communication systems by a person with access to them. According to current legislation, he faces a fine or correctional labor for a term of up to two years.
