Slovak police recently reported the deportation of a 59-year-old citizen of Ukraine for suspicion of his relations with foreign special services and organized crime. The found facts reveal that the man had contact with persons related to activities that threatens the national security of Slovakia.
According to official information, the decision was made within the framework of administrative proceedings in accordance with the legislation on residence of foreigners.
According to the investigation, the man had connections with special services and organized crime. On the basis of the evidence collected, the competent authorities recognized his stay in the territory of the country undesirable, which became the basis for immediate deportation.
Together with the forced deportation, the Ukrainian is prohibited from entering not only Slovakia, but also to all EU countries for two years. Law enforcement officers stressed that the deportation took place without delay and in full accordance with the law. The appeal of this decision in court was impossible, since the relevant authorities excluded the possibility of appeal, and the person involved in the case did not exercise the right to legal protection.
Slovak police said it would continue to fight any form of organized crime and foreign influence that could threaten public security. The department emphasized that any actions that can destabilize the situation in the country will not remain without a response.
