Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine is in its 700th day. There have been 56 combat clashes over the past 24 hours, according to the morning briefing of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 24.
In the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Yampolivka and Torske, Donetsk region, and two more attacks near Bilogorivka and Serebryansk forestry, Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanovske, and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, who does not abandon attempts to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the defense, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Thus, over the past day, the Defense Forces have repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Stepovo, Avdiivka and another 11 attacks near Pervomayske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhia direction, our defenders repelled four enemy attacks south of Chervony, west of Verbovy and Robotyn in the Zaporizhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not abandon attempts to knock out Ukrainian units from the occupied positions. Over the past day, the enemy has carried out seven unsuccessful assaults on the positions of our troops.

Ukrainian soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
