In Lviv, explosive objects were found on the territory of the Rose Garden Cooperative on Bigovaya Street, June 17, June 14, June 14, June 14. Ammunition has probably remained since the Second World War.
As reported in the Department of Civil Protection of the Lviv OVA, the dangerous find was encountered during digging a trench only five meters from an apartment building.
Initially, four artillery shells of the caliber 76 mm were discovered. A special demining unit arrived at the place, which conducted an additional survey of the territory. As a result of the search, the number of ammunition found increased to 83.
Due to the scale and complexity of the work of the sappers, they did not have time to complete the demining in one day - the operations for the disposal of shells will continue on June 15.
Currently, the territory is guarded, residents are urged to be careful, avoid ammunition detection and not try to move them independently.
Such cases are again reminiscent that even decades later, the war continues to be a threat to the civilian population. Lviv region is one of the regions where such findings are still not uncommon.
